The HeartAwake Center was established for people seeking to realize the spiritual awakening that is at the heart of the world's great religious traditions. Alan F. Zundel, the director, has practiced meditation and mindfulness exercises for over 30 years, and began giving talks on spiritual awakening after being invited to speak before a Buddhist group in San Francisco in 2005. After moving to Eugene, Oregon, he gave talks at regular meditation sessions in his home, most of which were recorded and are available on this website.
